Pantarei

Had an early birthday dinner at Pantarei in North Beach.
Tried to start up un buon conversazione with the waiter but we soon found out he didn't speak any italian so he was basically worthless. Just my luck to get the ONE waiter at Pantarei who isn't italian.
Whatev, it was still fun. I was just real tired this whole weekend.

Santa Cruzin'

Good times. High times.
Santa Cruz is a great little city but I don't see myself living there, EVAR.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun, I spent a lot of money but that's okay cause it's all stuff I thoroughly enjoy. There were a lot of good, bad, and strange highlights but I think I'll just leave it with 'fun'.

Guerrilla Rhymes

Dirty dancing
naked on the lawn
With my shoes
still on
I spell out names
in the ground
So that strangers
can be found
With no label
or reason
Just a time
and a season.

*

Cowardice all
Subside
Ride through the residue
Confide
Hide out in this garden called a trash can
We all go hide.

*

Taken to a crystal ball
Read to me
I love you.

*

Give me
the freedom
to call your name
in a crowded
parking lot with
horn ablaze
Your eyes will gaze
at the front
bumper of a
Volkswagen bug.

*

Kitchen tables
the knife and bread
Their in my hand, waiting
taking their time
to feed, its girth
out in this
vast, neon light
glass expands
linoleum expands
but the bread
and knife
they stay the same
in my hand.
