My Record Player

How much do I love this thing?
Brought it to the party last night, went over really well.
I found my mom's stash records and was expecting nothing but Styx albums but found a treasure chest of awesome.

I just realized I've taken a lot of pictures of it... dork status.

not much to update really, I'm at ease.

Moby + MSTRKRFT

I don't have all the pictures yet, but the few I took of us in the car should set the mood for our adventure to the Shoreline.

Here's some key moments before you scope the pics.

waiting for Thizz, FAG Mohawks, Magic glowsticks, mongoloid, $10 Download Tickets, The Phenomenauts, Steve Aoki picking up our glowsticks when we threw them onstage, cheering on the roadies, Bohemian Rhapsody Remix, chillin' shirtless, Spike in love, The Doors on the way back.

And the best was it was a giant dance party, no shoving, so in other words way better than Justice.

Here's some Photos:

I've Been in the Woods

I love what music has turned into.
To truly find good music you need to go out and find it. It's not just handed to you in line for Whole Foods (though we do carry The Green Owl Comp.)
I'm becoming a music whore. My new record player is gonna eat my wallet alive.
Here's some cool shiznit I've been finding:

Esau Mwamwaya - Kamphopo
(Radioclit remix from "Heart it Races" by Architecture in Helsinki)

Wale - The Opening Title Sequence

Animal Collective - Doggy/Hey Light

MIA - Paper Planes (DFA Remix)

and some local band stuff:

Girls

The Crux

Goodriddler

Not to Reason Why

Santiago

Secret Cat

The Bunker
