End 'O Semester

I've been studying for finals a little here and a little there, but really, I'm beyond confident.
Even if I were to completely fail the finals, my teachers knock off the lowest test score and I've been getting nothing but high B's and A's on every test. I'm really laid back.

so I've decided to start some projects:
1. A short animation maybe based on a Stephen King short story
2. Finish my short story
3. Fill up that damn sketchbook
4. Start my novel to which I'm going to base my screenplay off of
5. Get a raise at Whole Foods or switch positions to Sign Maker and stuff
6. Party all Summer long

I'll post updates on each of these and maybe add some more.

Summer Heat

Oh god.
This heat snuck up on us.
It's unreal.
I'm practically naked right now and it's unbearable.

Things I got done today:
Parking Ticket
Fixit Ticket
Grocery Shopping (so basically low on money)
Last day of school, (except finals)
Night Basketball
Payday tomorrowish

PS: this is to the fucking asshole that posted all that shit on my last blog:
Crystal Castles is made of Awesome.
Get over yourself.

Crystal Castles

another sweet find: Crystal Castles self titled debut is sweet. It's like if super nintendo came with a hot chick singer.

oh and the Ratatat Remixes are sweet:

Notorious BIG - Party and Bullshit (Ratatat Remix)

PS: my semester comes to a close tomorrow
that means one more semester till Florence = STOKED

S'cene'ora

Our trip to Sonora was short but sweet.
"Maggie" kept getting us lost when all we wanted was Starbucks.
It was a Western themed wedding and I felt really underdressed. I didn't even have a hat.
The night after the rehearsal dinner we went to the movies to find about every kid in Sonora from ages 15-18 there. Every single one we made eye contact with gave us dirty looks like "you're not from around here". They were all dressed super scenester, even more than kids here. It was so much fun making fun of them.
It was a lot of fun, especially considering I haven't taken a vacation in months.

Mexican Labor Day

Today was swell.
Woke up and did a couple of things before heading to the JC for another Florence meeting, which I didn't actually have to go to. Then stuck around the high school to see some chums and catch up with a couple of teachers. I had heard there was a big campus walk-off and a 'Labor Day' march downtown. I decided to check it out as I picked up some tickets for Iron Man (which by the way ruled).

Across the street from the Roxy was an anti-Illegal Immigrant picket line filled with the biggest morons Santa Rosa has to offer. Some of the things they were shouting were so uneducated and down right wrong. Scratch that.. ALL of the things they were saying.

I stood there in awe of their customized flags with images of snakes on them saying "Don't Tread on Me" and signs that said "California Border Minutemen". It was all very confusing. Until the giant march of Latinos and Mexicans came down the street and pulverized them in sheer numbers. It was invigorating. Most of the marchers were very young. I couldn't tell from all the noise the marchers were making if the anti-bitches were still shouting or if they had stopped (which they probably didn't seeing that they don't know when they've been beaten).

After the march had moved on down the street most of the picketers left but the few that stayed had little to nothing to say. There was one woman who kept shouting things like "Hire American Workers" and "Speak English" to which I shouted back "Be more specific" and "ORALE". It was fun egging her on till her voice started to give out.

Then this really fanatic guy came up to us and tried to start some debate which ended with him leaving and us sitting there stupefied by what he was trying to convince us of. He tried to talk about that terribly Liberal thing to say "Big Multi-National Corporation". I couldn't take him seriously and when I asked him to give an example of a "Big Multi-National Corporation" he stammered and changed the subject.

All in all it was super fun.
I hope Lilli posts some pictures.

g'night.

Uneventful

It's starting to clear up and get warm again
so you can expect more hikes
very very soon
I have fights with myself and I tell myself I'm going to bed early but then my other half says yea right, you and I both know that ain't gonna happen, then I punch him in the face.

I'm glad I'm doing so well in my classes, it gives me hope for Florence; which by the way is all set besides that whole thing called 'money'. I really have no problem with spending a lot of money for this trip. I'd be just as poor if I moved straight to Seattle or Portland. I am actually looking forward to living like a normal person in their 20's. Only I will have the advantage of saying my first apartment was in Italy. OOOOH SNAP.

Epic Drive Home

I always love driving home really late at night.
I'm not sure why but it's always a lot of fun in my little red bug.
I think I'll miss that the most.
Anyway, what made this night epic was after I dropped off Anna in Sebastopol I got a little lost and found highway 12 and it's basically a straight shot home. And this is the perfect time for that lame ass radio station 101.7 the Fox to play in this order:
Metallica - Four Horseman
Megadeth - 99 Ways to Die
Anthrax - Caught in a Mosh
and OMG
Testament - Jump in the Pit

I was blown away. I've hardly heard them play any of those, but tonight it was the best thing to ever happen.

My belly is sick from nasty Denny's.

A Pack of Wolves played amazingly as usual and I can't wait to start on their music video and make their new album art.

PS: This would be really awesome to read!
it's even got illustrations and stuff with Abe Lincoln making a national apology.
